RAIDER SOFTBALL
Head Coach - Kelsi Weseman
Graduated from Hutto High School (2008). Received a scholarship to play softball at Georgia Tech while earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering (2012). Weseman also received her Master’s in Business from Stevenson University (2015) where she served as the Graduate Assistant Softball Coach. This is Coach Weseman’s 8th year as an educator and Basketball/Softball coach.
Coach Hernandez is a former 2017 graduate of Cedar Ridge, as well as graduating from both Temple College and Louisiana Tech University. During her time at Cedar Ridge, she lettered all four years in softball while acquiring district newcomer of the year, three time district pitcher of the year and MVP. Throughout Coach Hernandez's collegiate softball career, she received NJCAA First team All-American, Pitcher of the Year, Division 1 Midwest Region First Team awards as well as Division 1 Pitcher of the week while at Louisiana Tech University. She is a part of Special Education department and entering her 2nd year of coaching volleyball and softball.
Coach Richardson graduated from Cedar Ridge High School in 2018. She went on to play collegiate softball at Texas A&M University - Texarkana and graduated with her degree in Bachelors of Business Administration. During her time at Cedar Ridge, she lettered all 4 years while acquiring District Newcomer of the Year, 1st team All-District and District MVP. Throughout Coach Richardson's collegiate career she received 1st and 2nd team conference mentions as well as Tournament MVP. She also led her team to two Conference Championships. Coach Richardson began her coaching career at Howard Payne University. She now will be part of the CTE program and teaches Business while also coaching volleyball.
